The diagram below!
Once upon a time, there was this person called sryiforgot.
He said, velocity varies with pressure. When the velocity of the air in a certain area increases, the pressure of the air there will decrease.
So, when an mrt zoom past, it will propel the air around it and give it a certain velocity in the same direction as the Mrt.
When 2 MRT meet, assuming everything else constant,
Between the MRT : the velocity of the air generated by the MRT is negated cos the MRT is moving in opposite directions. Pressure is relatively higher.
On the other side of MRT, the air is moving at a certain velocity, causing a low pressure zone(<--Geography!) at the both sides.

The air in the highier pressure zone will move towards the lower pressure zone...(that's how wind is generated anyway)...such that the air actually pushes out from between the MRT there, and this might cause the MRT to derail!
If u can ever understand my so-confusing-wadsoever-explanation, you should be able to understand...
Why is there a yellow line at the MRT platform? Answer below. =P

Well, you'll get sucked by the MRT(or pushed by the air) cos there's a high pressure zone behind you and a low pressure in front of you! (Assuming u are facing the MRT track)
