10:11 PM
its the manyth time
the toddler suddenly screamed
then started blabering(?) to himself
he was speaking English,
although i couldn't make out what he was saying
looking out from the pram
he was focused on his father
who tried to calm him down
by whispering and smiling to him
as if they child knew
he continued screaming
i laughed, and tried to control it
mus have looked quite retarded
because the man was no other than Mr Alan Tan
who was quite helpless in shh-ing his son
then there were his 3 daughters on the seats
a family of 6
initally
i wanted to tell Mr Tan
"your son naughty"
but on 2nd thoughts
i mus have been crazy
one station before Bakau
he finally spotted me
amidst the crowd
but i didn't hide from him intentionally
he said
"tuition?"
i said
"ya"
this 2 word conversation
if u think of it carefully
meant something
that
this is the 53409285034th time i've seen him
eh
at least 15 already
compare this to Mr Edward Wong(<--my sec3 maths tchr) who lives juz across the road
3 times in 4th years (since i've known him)
his wife was wearing the
rivervale pri camp polo tee
the one i went as odac
helped out as a faci
btw his wife is a tchr there
and this did
trigger some thoughts, memories
this did remind me of something that i wanted to say
about the degradation of the younger generation
that the process is accelerating
proof?
from the rivervale camp itself
i overheard
a P5 guy lashing out all forms of vulgarities at his classmate
compare this to me
i probably learnt the whole set of them
at Sec 2/3?
if this 'acceleration' is linear
you'll see p1 students scolding each other the F word in
say
4 years time
hmm
o.O
