i got 19/50 for my GP essay, but i wasn't really affected by it

coz i got 9/30 for my content for obvious reasons :o

den my compre was 26.5/50

and it totals to 45.5 and rounded up to 46/100

which is

such a familiar number

if the passing mark was raised by 5 marks ie raised to 50

i would have failed 3 subjects o.O

still got phy paper 2 haven get back

but its probably going to be a marginal pass anyway

i was thinking

wondering wad will Miss Yow(CT) remark on my report slip

usually its quite cliche

like "zw has done ok for xxx but needs to improve on xxx"

late for school today

they cut off the latecomers at around 7.25

which is quite rare

they usually do at ard 7.27 to 7.28

if you underestimate the power of 3mins

try to picture a scenario of ppl walking into the gates at a rate of 1 per second

3min = 180s = 180ppl

but anyway

being marginally late

usually wun be punished

is those who come after the national anthem

will dio dai ji

anyway

i was feeling quite unlucky

normally come at this time wun late one

then i realise i forget to bring the sch belt

which occurs abt 1% of the time

ahhh

if the prob dat the teachers cut off latecomers at 7.25(and before 7.25) is say, 0.3

(btw i write this according to the time on my hp, which is faster by a few mins)

assuming that i come everyday at 7.25

den that prob that i will be late and caught for my attire is 0.01 x 0.3 ie 0.003

which is otherwise 0.3%

pretty low huh

so dats wad made me feel so unlucky

but

wad made it so rare was

they din check our attire

and this occurs like...huh?

i don't know...its the 1st time it has happened

surely a day dat consists of 2(or more) rare events would be rarer

after tuition, yh had to buy butter, so we went to cold storage

den a woman was very kind to let us go first cos we only had an one item

after that i walked to the MRT station

and i realised that i missed the train

would have caught it if i was 20s earlier i guess

juz as i thought i was suffering from a karma deficit

(the way i meant it to be : a deficit when the amt of kindness i receive > the amt of kindness i show to other ppl, and vice versa for a surplus)

i saw

the nx train was

2mins away

assuming that the interval between two trains follow a poisson distribution of mean 6mins

the prob that the interval is 2mins is

or 4.46% of the time

but i tink its less than dat in reality ba

cos the train usually very zhun de

anyway

i juz realised that i unknowingly corrected my karma deficit juz now

when i held the lift for a guy checking his letter box

of coz

you may think dat its not right to expect to be repaid for yur act of kindness to others

but dats wad's told to me - about the cause and effect thingy

and i actually do believe in it o.O
