here's my take on the issue of

BONDS versus STUDIES

it looks one-sided to me

but...studies ARE important

then again i thought

would i prefer not to be successful(career-wise) , yet have a wide circle of friends;

or a wealthy person with few friends?

this is extreme, but given these two, i would choose the former

i surely, surely would

i don't have time to beat abt the bush cos i've got homewk

but i really mus voice this out

as of now, for us, the jc students

time is running short - while getting more intense with each passing day

the toughest dilemma to handle would be to choose between

dedicating time for studying or going out with friends

one look at this and you will slap me

you will tell me, of course studying is more important

so let me rephrase it -

dedicating time for studying, or celebrating the birthday of yur closer friend for 4 years

in fact

some actually chose the former

this is an OUTRAGE!!!

as such, i might uds part of how zq felt.

dat was why i told cy not to blame u also...u know wad i mean

ya as i am typing this...cy juz added u into the convo and i feel its great that we talk it out

but what i do not uds is how ppl like xy and yx(?) make their decisions.

i know their character is different from mine - u know wad i mean

so in the end i formulated an argument to justify how i feel

you see :

First.

if i go out with my zhss frens, i am sure to enjoy(and cherish) every moment of it

if i forgo that, not all it translates into time spent on studying

i might watch TV, eat, sleep, play besides studying

eating at home is different from eating with friends, so there is some sort of 'loss' here, sorry i can't express this point well

Second

i can treat the time spent on celebrating a close friend's birthday as a loan of time from the future,

without running a study-time debt - by, for eg, using time spent on watching TV to replace it

never mind if you dun uds this

cos my target audience doesn't read my blog! (i think)

i acknowledge that there is the limit to the amt of time meant for studying that i can forgo to go out with friends, not to mention celebrating the b'dae of friend for 4 years

yet the way some of the spases see it, the limit is zero.

of which is utterly disappointing -.-

ps. so far, i tink i have only expressed a small portion of cy's and zq disappointment.

but for the good of everyone, we'd prefer to mask it...
