23hrs and 9 mins ago, i was in ch hse playing risk again

this time, its with ch cy aaron and hazard

Risk is fun!...

...only if winning is not impt...cos in a FFA game, only ONE will dominate the world =/

i brought my CPU over too, so we played bf and generals there also, before starting our 2nd round of Risk

this time, hazard has went to sleep, and its a 2v2 team Risk : me and cy against ch and aaron

our troops were concentrated in Europe, Asia and Australia, while aaron and ch had most of theirs in Africa, South and North America

Initially my shou qi really nt gd...roll dice keep losing, causing me to lose alot of troops >.<

then later cos i kept ka jiao-ing Africa and South America via Western Europe, it made aaron and ch lose quite a number of reinforcements every turn...wakaka

this happened while cy has secured Australia and ready to occupy whole of Asia

then came the turning point - i used my Eastern Europe to invade Africa, and my dices kept winning, causing ch suffer huge losses!

then i kept joking that the troops at Eastern Europe really elite lolz

then later when my Eastern Europe kena atk...outnumbered ~.~

i decided to mo4 gong1 (<--- i invented this term to describe defending against a much larger army...as the movie suggested lolz)

then really - i kept throwing numbers like 6 5 or 6 6...and that was the 2nd turning pt =/

soon cy took over Asia, while i helped him cover his borders cos i had part of Europe and Africa

imo any game that rely on both skill and luck are all very fun...like monopoly/mahjong etc etc =)

left ch hse at noon

then went home to slp...before waking at 4+

cy going tekong this fri..and dis is the last time he can dinner with us cos he going to chalet for the nx few days with his cca

initially went to clarke quay, edwin say he wan eat at this indonesian restaurant...i sorta know which one cos i eat once before

but he himself dunno wad thing crop up...so we waited while walking ard at Liang Court, finally deciding to go Kovan HKXW cafe instead

my first time eating there...quite ok mah, dunno issit heard wrongly that someone say the food nt nice

i ordered this curry chicken w/ bread and a cup of yuan yang =)

quite squeezy, got 9(<--lol) ppl altgt at the round table...

today learn alot of vitamin from May eh?

she juz had a vitamin test - so we 'helped' her retain what was learned for subsequent tests by trying to be interested...

ok lah, i also learn alot

B1 - thiamin(?) , B2 - riboflavin(?) B3 - niacin

then got B6 and B12

iodine improves metabolism and makes one less lazy

vegetarians need iron supplements cos much of our iron intake comes from meat

liver contains alot of nutrients, but can only eat once a week cos its toxic, and pregnant women shud not eat liver

others forget liao =)

then i was debating with zq abt this Tai2 Tai2 (<--ch defined it as, married women who do not work and spend their husband money and go shopping everyday) thingy...

cos of my uber ego nature, i persisted to prove my point

the debate : is an increase in Tai2 Tai2 gd for Singapore Economy?

(actually...i tink wad we learn is juz not for exams...its also can be quite fun...i guess learning is forever de, and oh well, as long we enjoy talking abt econs...lol)

my stand : it depends

zq's reason : singapore will not suffer from inflation...and our savings too much, need higher consumption

xy's support : she agreed with zq that singapore wun kena inflation, and we do acknowlege that mild inflation is beneficial, excessive inflation not

me : not intimidated although xy is one of our zhss top student -.-

initially i talked of the Trade Cycle thingy...if our economy is on the upward recovery, then an increase in Tai Tai will cause the economy to overheat...causing inflationary pressures, GPL up blahblahblah TRx falls TEm up etc etc.

but in times of recession, increase in tai tai can be beneficial

now that i think of it...i would have argued that it depends on the extent of the increase in the number of Tai Tai...

but i had that idea in my argument : what if tml suddenly all the women go into Tai Tai status and spent their husband's money regardless of their income? (like in huan1 le4 man3 wu1)

i thought of saying abt the consumption/savings thing...cos higher C = lower S = less loanables funds in banks for borrowing for investment

but of cos the combined zq and xy would be fast enough to say that singapore rely more on external funds for borrowing
