today when i came back after lunch, boss was using my com...then other com all in use. so she gave me an extra 10min tea break, which grabbed the attention of everyone lol.

so instead, i went ard asking everyone if i could get them a drink...then cos i abit dun dare distract Boss and seeing that she like quite busy...i skipped her after asking elaine to ask wm. then to my shock :

"wo yi zhi zai kan ni leh! bypass wo ni yi wei wo bu dong ar?"

LOL

wtf...

"wo ben lai hai xiang yao gei ni increment de, but ni like that lor...."

"..." dio stun dunno wad to say

"ok lah go lah go lah...no 2nd chance liao. u ask me again i also dun want"

>.< color="#ff0000">today i took the LRT was filled up one stop before it reached sengkang int, which set me thinking...what if the MRT/LRT transport service is run by private firms? actually such similar thing appear in econs essay before...but what i thought of is very different answers...but still have logical econs reasoning.

i tink the frequency of LRT/MRT trains will vary a lot. i dun tink the firms will want to move 1/2 or 2/3 empty trains around everyday cos it might cost alot. the frequency of trains is not determined by them...but by the consumer...supplying the demand. so MRT trains will be permanently full and much less frequent. (to cut costs)

and they can do that cos they monopolise this service imo. buses poor substitutes...hmmmmmm

MRT stations will have less art drawings and designs. the place will be filled with advertisements. also, ez link cards will have famous brands on them i think. in fact if u buy the adult ez link card now its mostly pictures of Singapore...labelled uniquely singapore. to encourage tourism imo. so profit motive. not to make the card look nice only... hmmmmm....

stations send ads over the intercom. lcd screens show more ads, minus the "what to do in the face of a terrorist threat." (unless the govt pays even more than the advertisers to screen those public education ads)

fares will rise by alot...50%? last time bus fare rise 2 cents ppl already write to newspaper and complain sia. but if one adult fare from here rise from $1.94 to $3, i will complain but still take...unless im willing to wake up 1 hr earlier to take a bus?...hmmmmm.

demand for taxi and buses rise! too econs le. hmmmmmmmm

oh and suddenly this morning i thought why am i paid this amt for a no brainer job. wouldn't it be cheaper if they shipped the documents to china (HSBC = hongkong and shanghai banking corporation...) instead of Singapore...? imo chinese labour is cheaper and not necessarily less productive...so some things still i cannot find an answer myself with what little we learnt in jc.

the cards are not local... shipped from branches all over the world(the world's local bank O.o)...but they only come on 2 languages. maybe that's why?... (bilingual workers)

oh and i juz heard from my father abt how gd chinese workers are. singaporean workers sent for a 2-weeks training to learn how to operate a new machine and still can't learn it well. then they hired 2 chinese workers, $700/mth and they came and started running the machine. my father went to ask them how they manage to do it so quickly...

hais. lose liao lor. how am i going to know enough things until i am worth the cost of hiring me in the future sia...wish i knew.

honestly thinking if 2 yrs later i become a gong dai...cos now doing dis kinda job and ppl always say, go NS will become more dumb. that true? hmmmmmm....lol. cy says he can feel his brain shrinking liao. if my brain shrinks...then there'll be nothing left! >.<
