1st day at work is a

super day

work from 8am to 6:24pm

spent last 24mins re-Q/C cos of my own mistake (put too high contrast)

got 3 scanner (we're called scanners woot?)

me xm and shawn (<--tall smart nerdy guy from njc)

got 3 machine that's really cui

i can scan and qc one batch (3 stack, abt 150 documents) in 20mins and then spend the nx hour calibrating images, warming up the machine, rebooting com and scanner, cleaning lens and asking Audrey why is black patches appearing on the images, and that's bad productivity imo...

one good worker with one good machine > 3 good worker with 3 lousy machine

end up nobody can fix, i had to manually crop the images myself

oh Audrey is our team leader

she is round and short and friendly

Jenn is our boss

she bo dai ji walk ard call us do faster

we do haven 4pm already finish 29 dec's quota

at first at training they teach us how to fix the machine i thought juz say say nia

end up the machine cui till i calibrate more than 20 times, (xm even worse) and clean lens abt 10 tens cos the documents really old, got 1999 dated signature cards woot?...the dust rubs off the documents onto the lens.

din see Prinya ard today though

yet first thing in the morning i heard Jenn scolding a few lao jiao there then commending Prinya that he do very fast

Jenn is like those typical nu qiang ren thats quite scary imo

uh and

from here to dohby = $1.94, so i worked the first 20mins or so paying for my transport there

lunch at Plaza Sing with the other 2 scanners, eat food court = $5.50, work another 50min to pay off my lunch

and by the end of my job i will have went to PS abt 60 more times

vending machine drinks near pantry = $0.20 each cup!...lol

but need worker pass to enter

xm say 20c might as well free, i said got ppl like me, if free i'll sure abuse the machine lol

scanning document is a combination of alot but simple and repetitive eye-hand-brain coordination...must do fast need to do alot till the combinations become sub-conscious, so the first few hrs i do slow like turtle. then after lunch really superscanner liao

time flies while working imo, but still very boring. Jenn ask me why i yawn.
