so i went all out to set a new record, but my first setback came just after i finished my first box. it was my fault, in fact, cos i did too fast. =/
boxes that are ready to scan have to first go through doc prep, but the doc prep ppl couldn't catch up...lol. and in fact throughout the whole day there were alot of pauses cos the scanners have to wait for the doc prep ppl. towards the end of the day the condition aggravated when Noel and Raymond left early.
by then i was already well past my quota.
with nothing to do, i went to reink the stamp pad, use the anti-static alcohol wipes on my scanner lens and monitor screen, helped christopher to do file retrival, and even helped my colleagues and a hsbc staff buy some foodstuff from centrepoint.
so, yeah. couldn't set a new record ever again. i just happened to be able to set a record that day cos there was a surplus of 'ready-to-scan' boxes. normally, the doc prep and scanners are in tandem in terms of speed...
just 1.5hrs before the end of the day, we decided that we've fufilled the quota and started to slack. totally put everything down...meaning zero productivity...LOL. just sit there and tok cock. the reason is becos we decided that if we did extra, jenn would think we could potentially do more, and hence, increase the quota, like what she did today. the daily quota has been increased to 42k images per day.
we've let the singapore economy down. our slacking antics has led to an increase in avg costs of production. =/...errr
